Methodology

Each fee is read directly from the platform's own current pricing or help-center page — never estimated, never carried over from a prior version of this page without rechecking. The table shows the number as published, the exact source, and the date it was last checked.

The "fee" shown is the platform's own cut of a booking (or its flat listing fee for Furnished Finder). It does not include your own payment-processing cost, cleaning fees, or lodging tax — those apply regardless of which platform you use. Vrbo's figure reflects its announced October 29, 2026 change, published ahead of that date, since this page would otherwise be stale within weeks of publishing.

Ranking above uses a representative example booking ($200/night, 12 nights booked) so the order is reproducible — your own rate and nights may rank platforms differently. Run the calculator with your own numbers for that.
